Final results of the UWSA May 2020 COVID Climate Survey

The University of Waterloo Staff Association (UWSA) Communication and Membership Committee is pleased to provide this final results document based on our May 2020 COVID Climate Survey.

On July 14th, we published our preliminary results where we provided the numerical results of how prepared staff felt to do their job in the current conditions and how they felt we in the UWSA were doing in communicating with staff.

Staff Enhancement Grant elevates member's furniture-making skills

In December 2019, the Staff Enhancement Grant Committee approved nine applications. Gill Lesperance was one of them. Here is his story.


I've always built things with my hands, I enjoy watching piles of stuff becoming a thing that creates a solution. in 2012 I was lucky enough to buy a house with a 600-square-foot shop space in the backyard, I spent the first year rebuilding that shop, then officially opened G&G Carpentry.
