Extended Reality (XR) is a term used to describe immersive technologies like Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR). Despite twenty years of research, XR has only gained momentum within the past five years. Although there are still barriers to broad use of XR technology, it is an important innovation area.
The Office of Academic Integrity is hosting a virtual forum on Tuesday June 30 from 10:00am - 11:30am to provide insight into academic integrity at Waterloo and showcase some examples. Representatives from multiple campus units will be on hand to answer your questions, and to provide support and follow-up after the session, as needed.

CEL has recently launched a new Open Education Resource called Fostering Engagement: Facilitating Online Courses in Higher Education which was designed for post-secondary instructors and teaching assistants who would like to better understand the critical role of online facilitation in online course delivery and build practical online facilitation skills and strategies that are relevant, effective, and authentic.
