Spring forward in CLV

Ekin

Hi everyone, it’s Ekin!

I know it is hard to believe when you look outside, but spring term is around the corner! Hopefully it will start getting warmer soon but if this is your first summer in Waterloo, be prepared for very warm days. I know it is hard to imagine now, but it can get more than 40 degrees in summer here!

Darsh and friends

Hey guys, Darsh here. Moving into a new city is always tough, but as it is the month of “love” I wanted to talk about a few loves in my life. My life is really centered around my friends and they are the people who keep me grounded and sane living away from home.

Kartiki on break

Is it me or did the break seem very short? It seemed like only yesterday when I went through a tortuous 35-hour flight to India before I had to do it again to come back to Waterloo. So, I made sure I used the 22 days of holidays that I got to the fullest extent!

New Years Resolutions you can actually keep!

Ekin in winter

Hello all, it’s Ekin ☺

I hope everyone had a good start to 2019. Did you make a New Year resolution list? ☺ Every year just before New Year's Eve, I create my to-do list for the upcoming year because I love to start January with a fresh mind. I cannot say I follow these lists perfectly (who does?), but it is always fun to see what I achieved and what I couldn’t at the end of the year.

Housing advisors discuss living options

Hey guys, it's Darsh! Happy new year!

I don't know about you but I have had a fantastic experience living on campus for my first year. Can you believe it will be over in a few short months? As we got to the midway point of the academic year, I realized that I need to start thinking about where I was going to live in second year. Maybe you're thinking the same thing.
