Instructions for scheduling oral presentations

Presentation dates, times location:

  • Presentation dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays, September 6, 2018 - December 20, 2018; January 8, 2019 - April 18, 2019 
  • Presentation times: 11.30am, 12.30pm, or 1.30pm
  • Location: Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology PAS 4053 (unless otherwise indicated)

Oral presentations are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the university's lecture period. Check the current presentation schedule below for openings, discuss a mutually agreeable date and time with your supervisor, then email Nadine Quehl the date and time you'd like to schedule your presentation. Include your full name, UW id number, name of your thesis supervisor, what term you're enrolled in 499B, and the title of your presentation.

If there are extenuating circumstances and you need to request an alternate presentation date (e.g., you or your supervisor have class during the regular presentation times), please email your request to Nadine, clearly outline the circumstances and reasons for the request, and include at least two alternate dates and times that you and your supervisor would both be available for your presentation. Nadine will consult with the course coordinator and confirm a presentation date and time with you.
