There are two degree programs in the Industrial-Organizational Psychology Area:
Course and program requirements for the MASc in Industrial-Organizational (I-O)
Students are required to complete a minimum of 6 one-term (0.5 unit) courses, the Master's Research Paper (which counts as 1.0 unit), and an optional four-month Masters of Applied Science (MASc) internship. All core courses are to be taken for a numerical grade, unless they are only offered as Credit/Non-credit (CR/NCR). [Note: These are minimum requirements. Students may be required to take more courses in order to meet the prerequisites for some courses. Completion of the degree is expected to take approximately six terms.]

Two I-O content courses:
- PSYCH 879, Personnel Selection (or equivalent), and
- PSYCH 875, Organizational Psychology
Two Research Methods/Statistics courses:
- PSYCH 887, Research Methods
- PSYCH 632, Multiple Regression
Two Applied Skills courses:
- PSYCH 883, Organizational and Management Development
- PSYCH 886, Psychology of Training
- PSYCH 888, Negotiation: Theory and Practice
Academic Integrity Module
In addition, students must attend the weekly I-O seminar PSYCH 885 in the Fall and Winter terms.

PhD students in Industrial-Organizational Psychology (I-O) must complete a total of 12 courses.
Mandatory and core courses must be completed for a numerical grade. Breadth courses may be completed for credit/no credit.
