Interdisciplinary study on children's reasoning secures $1.7M in funding

A major research initiative led by Dr. Stephanie Denison has received over $1.7M from the Templeton World Charity Foundation to explore how children develop the ability to reason through uncertainty. The project aims to investigate how young minds begin to understand and act on multiple uncertain outcomes — a foundational skill that supports traits like intellectual humility, curiosity, and open-mindedness. The research brings together specialists from the University of Waterloo, Harvard University, the University of California San Diego, and the University of Copenhagen.

Congratulations to Dr. Denison and her collaborators!
