Most offers of admission have conditions that you must meet or satisfy before you can begin your studies at Waterloo. A conditional offer of admission is based on the grades and information we had when we made our admission decision.
Now we need to confirm you've met your conditions and are ready to start classes in September.
Check your conditions in Quest
IMPORTANT: You must check your Offer of Admission in your Quest account. That is your official Offer of Admission which specifies any conditions that you must fulfill before you can attend the University of Waterloo.
- All conditions for offers of admission to the fall 2025 term (September-December) must be met by the date(s) specified on your Offer of Admission.
- It is your responsibility to meet the final conditions as specified on your Offer of Admission.
- You will receive your final grades before we do. Please ensure we receive your grade(s) by the deadline indicated on your offer.
Ontario high students
Please ensure the OUAC has confirmation that you have earned your Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). To check this, log into your OUAC account and confirm that “OSSD achieved (OSS)" is listed in your Diploma Status section.
If your Diploma Status is incorrect, please follow up directly with your school and ensure it gets updated right away.
What happens if I don't meet the conditions on my Offer of Admission?
The University reserves the right to withdraw your Offer of Admission, residence, scholarships, or bursaries if you do not meet the conditions stated on your official Offer of Admission.
I have an offer of admission to iBASE or BASE. Can I submit a new English language proficiency test score for consideration?
Yes. The deadline to submit new test scores for iBase is June 6, 2025 and for one term or two-term BASE is August 15, 2025.
