Fall into Flavour: Discover Our Upcoming Events

Each term, UW Food Services hosts a variety of fun, free, educational, and interactive events across campus. From special culinary events like the annual Cooking Show in Fed Hall hosted by our Executive Chef, Javier Alarco and our Fired Up @ REV cooking competition where Food Service chefs compete head to head and YOU get to vote on the winner—there is always something fun happening in our dining locations for you to discover! You can also stay tuned for our residence movie nights featuring Elf, The Grinch and Home Alone.

The Chefs at the CMH, REV and V1 also develop new and exciting pop-up features at The Market, Revelation and Mudie’s dining halls on event nights like Shawarma Night, Halloween, and the Ottoman Empire Dinner.

From limited time menu items to themed movie nights and free cookies at our exam stress-buster event: Warm Cookies & Hugs at each of the residences, be sure to mark your calendar for these upcoming food events!

You can also join us for our annual Cooking Show on Wednesday, November 8th where YOU will learn how to make quick, easy and delicious one pot recipes! This event will feature tons of FREE food and a live demonstration by our Executive Chef, Javier Alarco! Simply register on our website and bring your WATCard to attend (it’s FREE!). Doors open at 5:30pm, but the show starts at 6:00pm with food sampling beginning at 6:30pm. We hope to see you there!
