Je suis la première des petits-enfants de ma famille qui assister à l'université et même si j'ai aimé mon séjour avec le gentil et brillant personnel du programme des études françaises, c'était très difficile à être loin de ceux qui m'encourager pendant mes études et ma vie. J'ai fini par adorer cette ville, l'université, et les personnes de mon programme grâce à l'atmosphère merveilleuse et libre du programme et la nature chaleureuse de ceux qui j'ai rencontrés pendant mes 10 trimestres ici. Je tiens donc à remercier au personnel qui m'a soutenu tout au long de mon expérience à l'université, ma famille pour vérifier que je n'avais pas perdu ma tête après les examens et le travail, ainsi que mes amis pour m'aider toutes les nuits blanches de nombreuses que j'ai dû faire et pour m'encourager à persévérer durant mes études et à me remettre à la musique.
I'm the first grandchild in my family to attend university and although I loved my time with the kind and brilliant staff in the French Studies program, it was difficult to be away from those who have always had my back in both academics and life. I came to love the city, the university, and the people in my program because of the wonderful and free atmosphere of the program and the welcoming nature of those I met during my 10 terms here. So, I want to say thank you to all the staff that helped to guide me through my first time at university, my family for making sure I was still sane after exams and work, and my friends for helping me through the many all-nighters I had to pull and for encouraging me to push through my studies and pick up music once again.
