Je suis extrêmement reconnaissante d’avoir eu l’occasion de faire partie du département d’études françaises pendant les sept dernières années. Je suis une étudiante mature qui a poursuivi ses études tout en travaillant à temps plein à l’Université de Waterloo. J’ai commencé ces études dans le but d’améliorer ma capacité à parler français, mais j’ai découvert un vif intérêt pour la littérature française. J’ai également été très impressionnée par le niveau d’implication des étudiants de premier cycle ainsi que par la qualité et la bienveillance du corps enseignant. J’espère qu’un jour je retournerai poursuivre des études de deuxième cycle.
I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to study in the French Studies department over the last seven years. I am a mature student who pursued my studies while working full time at the University of Waterloo. My original goal was to improve my ability to speak French, but along the way I also discovered a strong interest in French literature. I was equally impressed with the level of engagement among the French undergraduate students, and the quality and kindness of the faculty in the French Studies department. I hope to one day return to pursue a master’s degree.
