Congratulations to Dr. Marjory Phillips on being named this year’s recipient of the Canadian Council of Professional Psychology Programs (CCPPP) Award for Excellence in Professional Training in the Academic Training category. This is a national award that recognizes a psychologist for his/her outstanding contributions to the professional training of graduate students/interns. This is among the highest awards for the Clinical Psychology profession in Canada.
The award will be presented during an in-person ceremony at the AGM of the CCPPP in June.
The award letter notes that Marjory’s nomination package included letters of support from 15 clinical faculty and adjunct faculty and multiple administrators, as well as comments from 20 students. The summary of student comments describe Marjory as a “….beloved mentor, educator, supervisor and role model.”
Marjory- we are so pleased you received this highest level of recognition for all that you do to support out exceptional clinical training program.
