Congratulations to Dr. Geoffrey Fong on being named one of six 2025 inductees to the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame (CMHF)! Dr. Fong was inducted at a ceremony held in association with McMaster University on June 19, 2025. Each year the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame inducts six highly respected Canadian medical leaders whose significant achievements and contributions have had a profound impact on patients, practice, policy and health research. This award recognizes Dr. Fong as a leading public health researcher whose research and advocacy has made Canada a world-leader in the fight against tobacco, improving the health of millions of people.
