Head shot of Dr. Paul Seli
Psychology’s own Paul Seli has been awarded this year’s Governor General’s Gold Medal!  This award recognizes the top Ph.D. student at the University of Waterloo.  Paul, under the supervision of Dr. Dan Smilek, conducted some truly ground-breaking work on mind-wandering.  Along the way he also collaborated widely with other faculty and graduate students on a diversity of topics during his stellar graduate career.  Paul is currently doing a postdoc at Harvard working with Dr. Dan Schacter.  Congratulations to Paul first and foremost, but also to Dan, and all of Paul’s faculty and graduate student collaborators in the Psych Family.
