Seli
has
been
awarded
this
year’s
Governor
General’s
Gold
Medal!
This
award
recognizes
the
top
Ph.D.
student
at
the
University
of
Waterloo.
Paul,
under
the
supervision
of
Dr.
Dan
Smilek,
conducted
some
truly
ground-breaking
work
on
mind-wandering.
Along
the
way
he
also
collaborated
widely
with
other
faculty
and
graduate
students
on
a
diversity
of
topics
during
his
stellar
graduate
career.
Paul
is
currently
doing
a
postdoc
at
Harvard
working
with
Dr.
Dan
Schacter.
Congratulations
to
Paul
first
and
foremost,
but
also
to
Dan,
and
all
of
Paul’s
faculty
and
graduate
student
collaborators
in
the
Psych
Family.
