Psychology Graduate Student explores a "striking phenomenon"

Celina Bowman-Smith, a graduate student in the Department of Psychology, discusses her team's reseach on children's beliefs about improbable events on The British Psychological Society website.  Celina's article shows that children are more likely to think improbable events are possible if they are in distant locations.  The article is available on the APA PsycNet site.
