WiCSC Mentorship Award - Evan Risko

Please join us in congratulating Evan Risko, who has been named the recipient of the Women in Cognitive Science – Canada 2023 Mentorship Award. This award honours a Canadian Cognitive Scientist who “…..has demonstrated sustained, effective mentorship of women students” and for whom “…there is evidence of going over and above typical mentorship activities to support women students in cognitive science.” Evan is a student-focused and creative mentor who skillfully adapts his approach to meet the academic and professional goals of each and every one of his students.

We know how much this recognition means to Evan – particularly because the nomination came directly from his own students.
