Research led by Carla Rumeo, fourth year PhD student at the University of Waterloo (under the supervision of Jonathan Oakman on the Psychological Intervention Research Team), has been featured in an APA Article Spotlight — "Psychotherapy lessons from the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada."

The Psychology Department is a proud participant in the UWaterloo Green Office Initiative. As of March 13, 2017, Psychology has become a Bronze Certified Green Office, and is the first UWaterloo academic department to receive this certification.
Annually, an award valued at $750.00 is provided to a graduating undergraduate student enrolled in any program at the University of Waterloo. Selection are based on academic excellence, prior research experience related to child language development, and a demonstrated commitment to future postgraduate study in the area of child language development. No application is required. This fund is made possible by a donation from Knowledge in Development Inc.
This year, the award was given to two recipients.
