Our foundational strengths:

Each of our six Faculties also worked to support and advance strategic action, particularly in the Transformational Research and Academic Programming themes. The Faculties' annual updates, and their summative report in 2018 (PDF), demonstrate Waterloo’s united efforts to become one of the world’s most innovative universities.

Measuring our success

To ensure that we met the ambitious but achievable goals set out in the University of Waterloo Strategic Plan, we measured and monitored our progress annually, and completed a summative report in 2018. The accountability framework that accompanied plan was the responsibility of the Provost, supported by Institutional Analysis and Planning.
