FSL Bursaries (2025-2026)

Description

You have been invited to apply to one of the Department of French Studies’ “French as a Second Language” bursaries. These scholarships are offered by the Government of Canada through Canadian Heritage and ACUFC [Association des collèges et des universités de la francophonie canadienne]. This program has been implemented under the Action Plan for Official Languages 2018-2025 (APOL) – Investing in Our Future. The federal government made a commitment to promoting a bilingual Canada, in particular, by supporting young English-speaking Canadians in the pursuit of their postsecondary studies in French. Criteria for eligibility

Priority will be given to students experiencing financial difficulties and students from underrepresented groups.

Please note: Students may only receive this bursary once in their academic career
