Accounting and Financial Management admission requirements for Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) high school students

Program requirements

Core Mathematics with extended Module 2 (Algebra and Calculus) with a minimum final grade of 3. Core English language with a minimum final grade of 3. Minimum final overall average of 4.

General requirements

• Successful completion of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination.
• English as a Second Language will not satisfy the academic English course requirement.
• University transfer credits for the HKDSE will not be considered at Waterloo.

Notes

• You can apply either to Accounting and Financial Management (AFM) or Sustainability and Financial Management (SFM), but not both. If you're interested in other financial management programs, you can apply to Computing and Financial Management and/or Science and Financial Management in addition to your AFM or SFM application.
• You need to provide an English language test score if your four most recent years of full-time education have not been in an English language school system.
