Open roads: one co-op student’s experience working abroad

Teaching assistants are an integral part of successful course delivery. In order to recognize excellence in teaching among our Teaching Assistants, the School of Planning has introduced a new annual TA Award program. Instructors are asked to nominate TA's who have demonstrated commitment to the student learning experience through their outstanding efforts in a course.

The School of Planning congratulates Tapan Dhar for being recognized for

his outstanding achievement in Graduate Studies! Only five such honours were awarded to Waterloo doctoral students this year! Tapan will receive a certificate at fall convocation.

The School of Planning is very pleased to announce that Leia Minaker is joining our team as of Oct. 1, 2016, as a tenure track Assistant Professor. Leia is a dynamic scholar who is leading very timely and

important research focused on food access, public health and communities. Her academic background is in Health Studies (B.Sc. (Hon), Waterloo), Health Promotion (M.Sc.

The School of Planning is pleased to announce that a yearly subscription has been renewed with NRU Publishing for the GTA and Toronto editions. 

Registered undergraduate and graduate students have access to weekly releases of each edition available on LEARN "School of Planning Resources".
