Eric Blais receives an Ontario Early Researcher Award to develop new theoretical foundations for sublinear-time algorithms

Cheriton School of Computer Science Professor Eric Blais is one of nine researchers at the University of Waterloo to receive funding from the Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities through the Early Researcher Awards program.

The ordered dictionary is one of the most fundamental abstract data types. It stores a set of key-value pairs, and supports operations to insert, remove and retrieve key-value pairs. It can also support range query operations.
