The David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science is among the leading computer science institutions in the world and is ranked number one for program and research reputation in Canada for the fifth year in a row according to the Maclean’s 2025 university rankings.

The Cheriton School of Computer Science is also the largest academic concentration of computer science researchers in Canada, with more than 100 faculty members, 60 administrative, instructional and technical staff, 400 graduate students and 4,000 undergraduates.
