Published annually, the Global Impact Report demonstrates how our exceptional students and faculty are connecting across disciplines and finding solutions to create a prosperous and equitable future.

In his introductory comment, President Vivek Goel notes that “Waterloo’s unique approach to addressing the world’s greatest challenges is built on boundary-pushing research, experiential education and entrepreneurship.”

“We bring these strengths to bear on addressing the human dimensions of global challenges, understanding and enhancing human experiences and examining ways to translate knowledge for governance and policy. Throughout the report, you will encounter examples of Waterloo researchers, alumni and students who are making a tangible global impact today, while addressing and shaping the changing realities of our future.”
