Professor Raouf Boutaba, postdocs, graduate students and international colleagues win best paper award at CNSM 2017

Professor Raouf Boutaba, PhD students Shihabur Rahman Chowdhury and Nashid Shahriar, postdoctoral fellows Sara Ayoubi and Reaz Ahmed and colleagues Jeebak Mitra and Liu Liu from Huawei Technologies received the best paper award at the 13th International Conference on Network and Service Management for their paper titled “MULE: Multi-Layer Virtual Network Embedding.”

The prestigious recognition consists of a certificate and a €500 award.

Also known as CNSM, the International Conference on Network and Service Management was held in Tokyo, Japan from November 26–30, 2017. CNSM is the premier annual conference in network and service management and the venue for presenting and discussing the latest innovations, results and developments in managing networks, pervasive systems, enterprise and cloud environments. It is attended widely by leading experts in network and service management from both academia and industry.

CNSM 2017 is cosponsored by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Communications Society, IEEE Computer Society, the International Federation for Information Processing, in cooperation with ACM SIGCOMM.
