Mechanical Engineering admission requirements for Nova Scotia high school students

Program requirements

• Pre-Calculus 12 -- A minimum grade of 70 is required
• Calculus 12 -- A minimum grade of 70 is required
• Chemistry 12 Academic -- A minimum grade of 70 is required
• English 12 Academic or English 12 African Heritage -- A minimum grade of 70 is required
• Physics 12 Academic -- A minimum grade of 70 is required

There are supplementary information forms, including the Admission Information Form, which are required for admission. We'll email you detailed instructions once we receive your application. An online video interview is required for Faculty of Engineering scholarships and is strongly recommended for admission.

Admission average

Individual selection from the high 80s to low 90s.

General requirements

High school diploma with five academic courses at the Grade 12 level.

• Required courses that are two to three years old may need to be updated. Email the admissions office for further details.
• Repeated courses may be taken into consideration when we review applications for admission.
