Join us on Saturday, March 9 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to learn about our programs, residences, clubs, and services, and meet current students and professors. Drop in for part of the day or make a day of it!

If you haven't already, please register so that we can plan for your arrival.

You can watch our co-op, financing your education, and residence life livestreams on Saturday or anytime after the open house.

Locations and tips

Most activities take place at our main campus in Waterloo, except for the following.


You should go directly to the Cambridge campus. All School of Architecture sessions take place there.

Global Business and Digital Arts (GBDA)

Most sessions for GBDA take place at our campus in Stratford.


Pharmacy sessions take place on our main campus and our nearby Health Sciences campus.


Free parking will be available in most parking lots. Watch for signs as you approach the main campus in Waterloo. Printed open house guides will be available when you arrive on campus.


Campus walking tours

Take a 45-minute general campus tour with one of our student ambassadors and learn about campus life. Tours leave throughout the day from the campus tour booth in the Quantum-Nano Centre (QNC) Atrium.

Campus bus tours

Hop on (and off!) our campus shuttle bus for a guided tour of campus with a student ambassador. Stay on for the whole tour (approximately 20 minutes), or hop on and off. Tours depart from Needles Hall every 10 minutes. See map you'll receive when you arrive for shuttle stop locations.

Athletics facilities tours

Tour the Physical Activities Complex (PAC) and the Columbia Ice Fields. Meet at the PAC North main entrance at 11 a.m., 12 p.m., or 1 p.m. to tour both buildings. Learn about our varsity and recreation activities at the Athletics booth in the Quantum-Nano Centre (QNC) atrium.

Program tours

Tour a few of our 10 on-campus residence options and find out which style suits you best: Waterloo Residences’ traditional dorm experience or suite-style apartments or a University College residence. For more information go to the residence information booth in QNC or attend a presentation in Fed Hall at 12:30 p.m.
