3MT final competition
Come and cheer on your favourite presenters at the 3MT Finals.
Seventeen finalists from various faculties will be participating in this university-wide competition to compete for the title of first place winner (for a $1,000 prize) and runner up (for a $500 prize).
Each competitor will have 1 slide and 3 minutes to explain the breadth and significance of their research to a non-specialist audience.

2013 Cheriton research symposium
The Cheriton School of Computer Science will hold its annual Cheriton Symposium September 13th in the Davis Centre.
This year's symposium will consist of talks by Professor Frank Tip, and Faculty Fellowship recipients, Raouf Boutaba and Kate Larson from 2:00 pm to 5 pm in DC 1302.
Information Session on Graduate Studies
Second, third and fourth year students are invited to learn about graduate studies in Computer Science and other math programs by attending this information session led by our faculty members.
Scholarship information will be presented at 2:45 pm.
Refreshments and snacks will be provided.

The Ontario Universities’ Fair (OUF) began in 1997 as a way to help secondary school students gather information about Ontario’s 21 universities. Over 100,000 people attend the event over the 3 days.
