Deadlines for submitting official documents

While we can use unofficial documents to review your application and make an admission decision, we require official documents to verify your grades.

Ontario high school students

Your current high school will submit your grade 12 grades for you.

However, if you're required to send additional documents to meet your conditions or if you have completed IB or AP courses and wish to be considered for possible transfer credit, you'll need to submit official results directly from the IBO or AP Board.

You should check your Offer of Admission in the applicant portal in case the admissions committee has requested additional official documents in order to meet conditions.

All other students

Final transcripts must be sent directly from your school. Please arrange for your school to send us a final transcript by the deadline.

• Check your Offer of Admission to determine when you must submit your final transcript. Your Offer of Admission is available through the Waterloo applicant portal.
• Unless stated, it is your responsibility to send a final transcript. You can use the applicant portal to see if we've received your document(s).
• Official final transcripts must be sent directly from the school or issuing institution. Review details about submitting official documents.
