Congratulations to Dr. Christine Purdon, who will begin her term as the President of the Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (CACBT) this weekend. Christine will be recognized at the Annual General Meeting of the CACBT conference taking place May 4-6 in Halifax.
CACBT is a national organization developed by a group of Canadian mental health practitioners involved in the practice and theory of cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT). The mission of CACBT is to maintain an apply national standards of CBT practice, provide a forum for discussion among members of all helping professions, increase access to knowledge and training about CBT, promote scientific research in CBT, and promote education about CBT to the Canadian public.
