Dr. Geoffrey Fong awarded 2016 “Excellence in Arts Research Award”

Geoff Fong has been awarded a 2016 “Excellence in Arts Research Award”. Geoff’s unflagging efforts in generating the evidence needed to contradict the profit-motivated arguments of special interest groups, and convince governments to adopt national tobacco-reduction policies has ultimately resulted in a substantial decrease in tobacco-related disease and death worldwide.  Research doesn’t get more meaningful than that! 

The awards will be presented on Monday April 25^th 4:00 p.m. in the Don Craig Atrium of Hagey Hall.
