Head shot of Dr. Evan Risko
The Psychonomic Society awards young scientists each year who have made significant contributions to scientific psychology early in their careers. The purpose of the awards is to raise the visibility of our science and of our very best young scientists within the field, within the awardees’ institutions, in the press, and in the larger community

Evan Risko’s research focuses on issues related to the embodied and embedded nature of cognition to develop a deeper understanding of how we use our body and physical environment to help us think and how it shapes our thinking. His research spans many areas including perception, attention, cognitive control, memory, human-computer interaction, and decision making.

Congratulations Evan!
