This year, three members of the Department of Psychology have been recognized in ALL THREE of the UW Arts Awards categories:
Katherine White is the recipient of the 2022 Arts Award for Excellence in Research. This award recognizes the quantity and quality of Katherine’s research contributions and the disciplinary/interdisciplinary impact of her work.
Ramona Bobocel is the recipient of the 2022 Arts Award for Excellence in Teaching. This award recognizes Ramona’s proven consistency in teaching excellence over time, her implementation of new and varied approaches related to course development, and her mentoring of colleagues and graduate students for the purpose of promoting better teaching.
Bill Eickmeier is the recipient of the 2022 Arts Award for Excellence in Service. This award recognizes Bill’s exceptional level of commitment and impact to the Faculty, sustained over a significant period of time.
These awards are initiated by open nominations from students, staff, and faculty in the Department. They reflect the admiration of their closest colleagues.
We are continually thankful to be in a department with such a long history of collegiality, support, and encouragement.
