Anna Foat

Anna Foat (BA ‘99 English)

Anna graduated from the University of Waterloo with a bachelor’s degree in English and now teaches Design Thinking at Western. She’s worked at a startup, grown with one of the most famous Canadian scale ups (and subsequent crashes) and now works for a major financial services firm in Canada advising the chief transformation officer on digital transformation. She’s a best-selling author on the topic of Design Thinking and was named BetaKits top 30 women to watch in tech.

Chris Goddard headshotChris Goddard (BA ’01 Theatre and Performance)

Chris is the co-founder of Craft Brand Co., a Toronto agency that partners with local brewers to offer globally renowned brews to Ontario beer lovers. As an entrepreneur, he also launched Craft Brand Co’s online store, Bodega, where you can have brews and all the classics delivered anywhere in Ontario. He studied theatre while he was at Waterloo, which didn’t directly train him to build a brewery and an import agency, but it certainly didn’t hurt.

Nathan Lee
