With the COVID-19 pandemic disruption of schools and formal education, parents and many others are deeply concerned about the return to school under the 'new abnormal' conditions. In a collaboration between the Faculty of Arts and Community Relations and Events at UWaterloo and Kitchener Public Library, this August 25 online community panel offered assurance and advice on how to be prepared and advocate for the best possible outcomes.
The panel included professors Janice Aurini (Sociology and Legal Studies), Dillon Browne (Psychology), and Kristina Llewellyn (Social Development Studies) and was moderated by Sheila Ager, Dean of Arts. Watch the full event.
