As Senior Educational Developer, Inquiry & Communications, Dr. Mark Morton supports instructors in finding and using new learning technologies and strategies in pedagogically effective ways. He also provides oversight for CTE's research team and CTE's external communications. 

Mark is the author of four award-winning books and has written more than 50 articles for Gastronomica: A Journal of Food and Culture (University of California Press), He has broadcast scores of columns pertaining to language for CBC radio. Mark received his PhD in sixteenth-century non-dramatic English literature from the University of Toronto in 1992. Prior to joining the Centre for Teaching Excellence in 2005, Mark taught for more than a decade at the University of Winnipeg. Most recently, he's published a young adult novel called The Headmasters
