The Fundamentals Block session is the Fundamentals of University Teaching program in two weeks. It is a highly intensive environment, and the Block session requires a full commitment for the two weeks.
How to register:
The Fundamentals Block session is offered each Winter and Spring term, in March/April and July/August respectively. We do not hold a block session in the Fall term. Registration is limited to 16 participants. To register, participants must:
- be Master's student, PhD student, or Postdoctoral Fellow currently attending at the University of Waterloo
- commit for the entire two-weeks of the in-person program
- Sign up for the program through the CTE0495 Fundamentals Block Program registration in GoSignMeUp. If this is the first time you are using the registration system you will first need to set up your account (one time only)
Location of the block program:
The block program is held fully in-person in our workshop space in Math & Computer (MC) room 2036 and 2036A.
