March Open House

CS Colloquium - The Traveling Salesman Problem for random points in the unit square: An experimental and statistical study

TSP instances generated by placing cities uniformly at random within the
unit square provide reasonable surrogates for the instances arising in
many real-world TSP applications.  They are also an interesting object
of study on their own.

The Ontario Universities’ Fair (OUF) began in 1997 as a way to help secondary school students gather information about Ontario’s 21 universities. Over 100,000 people attend the event over the 3 days.
