On November 25, Clinical psychology graduate students from the Clinical Psychology Department and the Centre for Mental Health Research and Treatment at the University of Waterloo participated in the UW 26 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign this past November.

Igor Grossman is the recipient of the 2019 Joseph B. Gittler Award from the American Psychological Foundation. This award recognizes psychologists “who are making and will continue to make scholarly contributions to the philosophical foundations of psychological knowledge.” He joins a highly esteemed list of past award winners including Jerome Bruner and Daniel Kahneman. Psychology's own Dr. Hilary Bergsieker has been nominated for the K-W Oktoberfest Rogers Women of the Year award in recognition for her “outstanding advancement to the field of STEM”

Congratulations to Allison Kelly who is one of the latest recipients of the Ontario Early Research Award. Dr. Kelly's work focuses on facilitating treatment seeking among postsecondary students with mental health problems.
