Igor Grossman is the recipient of the 2019 Joseph B. Gittler Award from the American Psychological Foundation. This award recognizes psychologists “who are making and will continue to make scholarly contributions to the philosophical foundations of psychological knowledge.” He joins a highly esteemed list of past award winners including Jerome Bruner and Daniel Kahneman. Congratulations to Allison Kelly who is one of the latest recipients of the Ontario Early Research Award. Dr. Kelly's work focuses on facilitating treatment seeking among postsecondary students with mental health problems.

UW Psychology's Allison Kelly won the International Journal of Eating Disorders2018 Outstanding Scientific Contribution Award for her paper, "A feasibility study of a 2‐week self‐compassionate letter‐writing intervention for nontreatment seeking individuals with typical and atypical anorexia nervosa".
