Ko Eun Nancy Um, a PhD student in French Studies at the University of Waterloo, researches how Indigenous solo artists in Quebec express identity and reconciliation. Her work is shaped by her own lived experience and highlights the power of storytelling to deepen understanding.

As Dr. David DeVidi (Philosophy) completes seven years as Associate Vice-President, Academic, another Arts professor, Dr. Martin Cooke (Sociology & Legal Studies/School of Public Health Sciences) steps into that role after serving as Assistant Vice-President, Leadership and Strategic Initiatives.
