Conversations on Trust in Science and Technology

The University of Waterloo’s new Trust in Research Undertaken in Science and Technology Scholarly Network (TRuST) brings together researchers and practitioners from across disciplines to improve communication with the public and build trust in science and technology. 

Join Nobel Laureate Donna Strickland for a talk on the importance of trust in science and technology, followed by a panel discussion with Ashley Mehlenbacher, Canada Research Chair in Science, Health and Technology Communication, and University of Waterloo's Dean of Engineering Mary Wells. 

The session is presented in partnership with CBC Kitchener Waterloo and will be moderated by Craig Norris.
