Hobbies / Interests: I have always loved baking with my family. When quarantine came around, we used it as an opportunity to bake together again. It was a very yummy use of time.
Why did you choose the University of Waterloo? I chose Waterloo because I was interested in getting an arts degree but I also wanted to have relevant work experience to set me apart when I graduated. Waterloo is the leader in these experiential learning opportunities and I knew it was the place for me. With all the opportunities the university offers, I feel like I am on my way to accomplishing my goals.
What do you like most about your program? I love the upper year classes offered. The topics get so in-depth and you can really study what you want at length. They are a great opportunity to expand your knowledge of a topic you're interested in or to learn something completely new.
Co-op experience/what you like about co-op at Waterloo? So far, I have had one co-op. In Spring 2020, I worked virtually as a Donor Relations and Stewardship Assistant at the University of Waterloo. In this role I helped with the development and implementation of campus wide stewardship policy and I gained practical knowledge of many systems commonly used in business.
One more thing about yourself? I love everything Disney related! It's my goal to visit every Disney park at sometime in my life!
