CTE Faculty Members Teaching Development Needs Survey

The Centre for Teaching Excellence (CTE) would like to better understand how we can support faculty members as they pursue their teaching development goals. This Needs Survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete and is anonymous. Thank you in advance for participating and sharing your ideas! 

Who: University of Waterloo faculty members
What: Complete the CTE Faculty Members Teaching Development Needs Survey
When: April 24 – May 12, 2023
Why: An up-to-date and thorough understanding of the current teaching development needs of Waterloo instructors will help CTE provide even more effective programming. 

Here’s how to participate:

  • Step 1: Instructors - check your email! The survey link should have been directly emailed to you by CTE staff, from cte@uwaterloo.ca. If you did not receive this email or cannot locate it, please contact Monika Soczewinski
  • Step 2: Click the anonymous survey link and participate! The survey will take about 10 minutes to complete.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who should participate?

  • Tenured faculty
  • Tenure-track faculty
  • Full-time, non-tenure track faculty (e.g., definite-term lecturer, continuing lecturer)
  • Part-time faculty (e.g., adjunct, sessional)

Are responses anonymous?

  • Yes! Responses are completely anonymous. There will be no identifying information collected or linked to your responses.

What will be done with the results?

  • Results will be used to inform CTE services and programs with regards to workshop topics and delivery formats.
