The Integrated LEARN Retreat (ILR) is a full-day workshop conceived by Kyle Scholz, CTE Liaison in Arts and James Skidmore, former Arts Teaching Fellow to enable interested instructors to receive hands-on support and advice from knowledgeable facilitators on both the pedagogical and technical aspects of LEARN. By the end of the ILR, participants have the opportunity to develop a course shell tailored to their specific needs, with the elements he or she wants, as well as the skills to utilize these elements effectively. Two past participants of the workshop – Mariam Mufti (Political Science) and Greg Campbell (Drama & Speech Communication) will showcase their work and share their experiences of the day. Formerly only offered to Arts Faculty this workshop will be offered campus wide in 2017.
