Workshop description
What are students struggling with in the classroom and how can you support them? Learn about essential skills and best practices needed to effectively support student academic development. You will be introduced to the Student Success Office’s Learning Support resources and how you can use them as a TA or graduate-student instructor. By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:
1) recognize challenges undergraduate students typically face at UW
2) discuss with students some strategies that could be useful,
3) recommend relevant resources on campus to support academic skill development.
Workshop delivery
This session will take place on the Waterloo campus in Dana Porter Library, room LIB-323 (Learning Lab).

- Participants will receive an attendance credit towards the Fundamentals program if they stay for the full live session.
Cancellations
This workshop has limited enrolment spots and often has a waiting list. If you have registered but can't complete the module, please cancel your registration well in advance through the registration system, so that someone else can fill your spot.
