Location: In-person (MC 2036)
Note: This session is geared toward lab TAs in science and kinesiology.
Many TAs in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) disciplines are responsible for leading laboratory sessions. In this interactive workshop, we will discuss strategies for teaching in lab settings. By the end of the workshop, you will be equipped with practical strategies for planning and running lab sessions as well as methods for creating a positive lab environment where students feel comfortable to participate and learn.
This session will take place on the Waterloo campus in room MC-2036.
- Participants will receive an attendance credit towards the Fundamentals program if they stay for the full live session.
This workshop has limited enrolment spots and often has a waiting list. If you have registered but can't attend the workshop, please cancel your registration well in advance through the registration system, so that someone else can fill your spot.
