Expand your toolbox of interactive activities for any classroom at the Teaching Methods (CTE1217) workshop.

In this one-hour hands-on workshop, instructors will be introduced to the Meta Quest 3 VR headsets and explore how virtual reality can support teaching and learning across disciplines. Participants will learn the core functions of the headset, review examples of educational use cases, and discuss considerations for classroom integration.

Learn how to use questions in the classroom to facilitate learning and encourage participation at the Effective Question Strategies (CTE1190) workshop.

This introductory session helps you build confidence using the classroom technology available in the Tech Sandbox. You’ll get hands-on practice with ViewBoard Interactive displays and their interactive classroom features, including infrared touch interaction, multi-width pens, hand erase functionality, whiteboard and annotation tools, and system functions for casting and collaboration. 

Learn practical strategies for planning and running lab sessions as well as methods for creating a positive lab environment where students feel comfortable to participate and learn.
