Biology

Morton Globus, professor of biology, has been a member of the University of Waterloo since 1972. Professor Globus brings a high level of enthusiasm, knowledge and generosity to his teaching and creates an effective learning environment for his students. With an open door policy, Morton Globus maintains a strong relationship with his students. His unfailing patience is illustrated in his committed involvement in laboratory instruction and his constant encouragement of students to strive for their best. Professor Globus has a strong concern for his students and their development. He is also an undergraduate officer and a student advisor for the department, has devised a new science and business program for the University of Waterloo and implemented a major revision of the program course offerings. In 1995 he served as chairperson for a science/technology-business/law partnerships conference. His boundless energy and positive attitude is reflected in his teaching eloquence and his dedication to his students.
