September 17 to 21 is National Postdoc Appreciation Week! In 2017, 115 institutions in the United States, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdon, and Asia & Oceania participated and organized 398 events to recognize postdoctoral researchers. Thai Boxing Class

Have you always wanted to try a boxing class? Well, now is your chance! We've hired an instructor to teach postdocs how to box. This class will combine basic self-defense movements with traditional Thai boxing. Experienced and beginners are both welcome!
A few items to consider:
- Wear something you aren't afraid to sweat in.
- Thai Boxing is done in bare feet.
- Bring your spouse/partner, too (but please indicate that they are joining us on the registration form, below). Don't forget a water bottle!

Roll Out, Renew and Restore Yoga

Relax with a yoga massage class. Using massage balls, the instructor will lead you through exercises that can be used to relieve muscle pain. Experienced and beginners are both welcome!
A few items to consider:
- All equipment will be provided (including a yoga mat and yoga massage balls).
- Bring your spouse/partner, too (but please register them separately).
- Don't forget a water bottle!
- Wear comfortable clothes you can move in (i.e. jeans not recommended)
- Space is limited to 22 people. Please register early.
