Thursday, October 19, 2023 10:00 am - 11:30 am EDT (GMT -04:00)

Location: MC 2036

Facilitator: Julia Burke and Michèle Martin

Description

Join us for this interactive session where you’ll connect with other instructors to collaboratively explore strategies for integrating climate change education and actionable initiatives into courses across disciplines. Canada has committed to integrating climate change into education and training programs, and the University of Waterloo has made significant progress towards this goal by introducing new courses and programs focused on climate change. As we are teaching amidst the climate crisis, it is paramount to ensure that every UWaterloo student is equipped with understanding, hope and agency.
